To all who gave me some insight to my new project. I checked out the stator and yes it was a goner. I now think that my starter is bad. Tell me, if my core to the starter is grounded out, will it make my engine overheat? When I start it with the electric starter it stays running for like a second or two after the bike is on. Could this be the reason that my bike was shutting off?
