    what is a way i can tell if my xs650 is charging/ had a dead battery this morning?

    i'm new

    look in the technical section above and read through the charging issues post. thats me . if i say this right,batt should have aprox. 12.8 v start bike and check at 1,500rpm should be 14.somethingv. Diver ray came to the resque for me.

      More than likely the problem is either low electrolyte in the battery or worn alternator brushes.
