So that's the skinny, Minny! Need a head ... I haven't even gotten into the bottom end yet to see what sort of things are floating around in the crankcase still. That's for this weekend, or maybe the evenings if I get motived. But I do need a whole new valve-train.

Geesus... and u plan to ride it with THAT engine in...

Looks like u need at least a new head and pistons... god knows what that did to the crankcase...

I'd go shopping for a new engine...

No, I was just gonna slap on the head like that and ride away! :-P Sheesh, what a crowd. Actually I JUST (minutes ago!) won an auction for an 87 parts bike w/ a running engine. I have to go up to Attleboro, Mass. this weekend to pick it up.
