True. I stuffed a 78 GS550 four cylinder into a Yamaha Timberwolf utility quad that originally carried a 250 single. Tight fit, but I didn't have to remove any of the original frame rails. Makes for a really fast quad! And yes, I think it was worth it, tho I spent more on it than I will likely get back out of it.

I have a KZ650 engine sitting around that I'd like to do that with. Maybe someday...

With an 85 MAxim 700, do Maxim 750 brake pads fit in? I see them on ebay for cheap, but cannot find XJ700 pads specifically.

Hey Nufsaid The 700 & 750 are the same bike ( small differences ) Harley put up a fuss in the 75-80's so USA laid a heavy tax on Jap bikes over 700 cc. Check with a dealer on part no. or someone with a 750. Good Luck bkr
