  • XS750 Transmission Gear Search

I am looking for two gears out of an XS750-2D. They are the Middle Drive Gear pn 1J7-17582-01 (32 teeth) and the Middle Driven Gear pn 1J7-W1758-01 (34 teeth)

Does anyone have a -2D transmission they like to sell a coulple of gears out of?

Check ebay user Trophyoutpost. He lists a lot of stuff for any type of motorcycle. I have bought many xs750 parts off of him.

Don't forget eBay Stores. There are several motorcycle breakers there. I have made multiple purchases from FASTRAX CYCLES and MOTERCYCLE GEORGE. Both are helpful sellers that I can recommend. FASTRAX has some 750 parts listed, so he may be worth contacting. MOTERCYCLE GEORGE has trouble with spelling.

Don't know where you are, but I have most of a 750 triple sitting in my pole barn that needs to find a new home. I believe it's a 79.

            I'm in Houston -

Also, a '79 won't work. I am looking specifically for a '77 750-2D model (frame serial no 1J7-10100....) as these have the engine/tranny I'm loolking for. All others have the gearing I already have.

                XS850 gears

I'm not sure if your gears are any different than the ones I have. I can send you a power point file that has the shop manual pictures, part numbers ect. It will show you which two I am interested in and you can check yours to see if they are the correct teeth count.

I don't know how to attach the file here so would you email me with your normal address and I'll reply.

                Thanks
