  • New horse in the stable

    Howdy XSives!

It's been awhile since my last post here.

I've been busy finding a new job and working on stuff around the new house.

I thought I would make an announcement that there is going to be a new horse in the stable. SWMBO has agreed to let me buy a 1985 Yamaha Venture Royale from a guy down the street (Late b-day gift for myself.)

It has 46,500 miles on the clock. Lots of storage! Lots of extras!

I'll post some pics after I get it. I plan on riding it home tomorrow.
    I'm pretty excited.

It's been a couple of months since I've had a bike to ride. The Dark Horse has been sick and I haven't had time to pay much attention to her. I plan on fixing what ever is broke. Then I don't know what the plans will be for her future. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    Ya'all ride safe now.

How can you not have 2 bikes?
Unless you have 3 or more

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

Congrats, I've always liked those. BTW, the windshield shakes at around 120 on those. ;o)

Sometimes I'm computer dumb. This is one of those times. I've not posted a picture here for so long that I've forgotten how.

Someone want to give me the instructions? Please?

            TIA

              the other side

be careful on the cadillac, once you get used to it the sportscar will never be the same.

I had to rearrange some things in my garage yesterday which resulted in my moving the "not running" Dark Horse. As I straddled the seat this great bike felt so small and light after riding The Pack Horse for a few weeks now.

I am getting spoiled on the big bike. I better spend some time soon working to get The Dark Horse back on the road.

Also, if you want to see pics of The Pack Horse they are available on the Yahoo group pics site (allxs11pics). Dark Horse album then click the Pack Horse file.

                Ride safe!

I was fortunate to spend a weekend on a new Venture Royal bake in 1988. I rand the crap out of it and the bike never let me down. I ran it through the twistys like a sport bike and drag raced 750s in town. One of these days I hope to add one to my stable.
