  • Kawa Vulcan S

Just bought a new-ish 650 Vulcan S for the girlfriend to ride. Its one of the few bikes that she can flat foot. It has the same engine that is in the 650 Versys. Looking forward to riding it after tags, tax, isurance, etc.

It looks good in the garage.

    Yamaha where are you

Why did Yamaha ignore us when we cried for a modern XS650D ? ? ?
I like the look of this bike maybe just a little too modern looking.
I would like it a bit more retro looking

YAMAHAHAHAHAHAHA ON A CRAZY TRAIN !!!!!
Build it they will buy it, not a sportster knock off but a TRIUMPH BONNIVILLE KNOCK OFF JUST LIKE YOU DID IN 70 only water cooled 750FI, belt drive with a square tube frame, 120/60 16" front and 140/60 17"rear, about 4" longer than the 77 XS650D ? ? ?

I had it up to 55 mph on a secondary road today in 5th gear 4000 rpm. So, yes I think that you can run this on the freeway no problem.

It is the same engine that is in the 650 Ninja and 650 Versys. Both of these are ridden on freeways all over the world.

The seating position has me on my tailbone with no support from the legs. I would be in excruciating pain if I had to ride this bike a long distance.

I believe that the 650 Versys would be a much better choice for any appreciable distance or time.
