      I love the new Venture, but like most of us Venture riders we were hoping for an up-dated V4. But it came as no surprise that they went with the V Twin. Over the past ten years I have observed on the Interstate and at major bike rally that V Twin bikes out numbered both V4 and 6 cylinder bikes. Yamaha has been making those same observations and it is just business. Time will tell if it was good business or not.

          At around 950 lbs, it is about a 100 lbs heavier than my 07 Venture.
