I just looked at a video of the 3-wheel Polaris Slingshot. Anyone checked out one of these in person?

Promo video and short description is at:

I would like to see one up close and personal.

I saw on the first time I checked out the Dragon (with my Mom in her 1997 Cavalier) last January. Just saw it parked at Deal's Gap as we drive by.

Then I found out that that the Aisin HQ across the street from our office (where my son works) supplied the transmission. They have a borrowed Slingshot on display in their lobby. Once or twice a year they let the employees drive it.

I'm waiting for the next chance.

I've looked one over at a dealer in Hollister, CA. when I was checking out the Indian Roadmaster. They are more car like than motorcycle, though they ARE fast. Not what I would want, but some may like them.
They do seem to be put together well, but the price is the same as a good car, not an econobox.
