Triumph Trophy 1200

I have a chance to buy a 2002 Trophy 1200. It was a chase bike for a local bicycle tour of the state. It has 1500 factory rider miles, to be sold with a 2 yr warranty, and a new vehicle title. $6500. Anyone have any experience/stories/opinion on the bikes that might guide me in whether or not to lay down some hard earned $$$
