Much as i dont particularly like cafe racers, this definitely does it for me. Wouldnt do it to mine though..

Moddded FJR1300...at what point is an XS1100 or any other bike no longer the essence of which it was created??....you see all these highly modified european XS1100s...I just have to shake my head and wonder at what point is it no longer an XS1100???...

I'm not a big fan of café racers either, but that is a nice-looking bike ...

As far as the café look on the XJR, I really think this one hits all the right notes:

It was created by an outfit in Denmark called Wrenchmonkees, and has been dubbed "Monkeefist" ...

And for those who like header wrap, there is this one:

It was created by a company in Portugal called It Rocks! Bikes, and has been named "Stealth" ...

        The styling on this one...

Not sure about the pipes, but I love the paintjob and styling. Makes that XS look like a beast.

Closeup of the tank - I'm thinking of trying something similar on mine...
        79 XS1100F (The SS Dumbo)
        - Her ears flap when you get up to highway speeds...

        * Complete newb as far as attempting a restore, just couldn't pass her up after a test drive. She deserves better than whatever happened to her so far...
        * She's an "F".... More or less. has a pretty good mix of SF/F/?? Parts on her at the moment though.
