Quick question. I have a 79xs eleven special. Installed new calipers in front and need to add fluid to the master but the PO rounded out all the screws. I was able to drill the heads off and turn them out with vicegrips. Is there anywhere I can get just the replacement screws. Local hardware store doesn't seem to have anything similar? Help!

Then you need to find a different local hardware store! There is nothing special about the threads on those screws. Standard thread, standard size, standard taper heads....Nathan

Negative. The early master cylinder covers screw into a bushing that is molded into the reservoir. The screws are only about a centimeter long.Nathan

His signature says he has a special not a standard and the screws on those masters are of the longer variety as Glowe showed in his first post. Here is an Ebay listing for a 79 master which is the same as my 80 which takes the longer screws.

there is nothing special about them and are readily available from a number of sites on the net. I have never looked for them as I have never had the need. I do know that home depot has a special cabinet where they keep a lot of odd ball screws and such. I may take a ride over to look what is available and report back. I live about 2 minutes from one.2 - 80 LGs bought one new
