  • my gen 2 hayabusa

not sure if any of u guys are interested
but i thought id post a cpl of pics of my busa

the bike was pretty much stock when i got it
    ive added the following -
    new yoshi slip ons
    short levers
    heated grips
    fender eliminator
    double bubble screen
    new heavy front springs 1.2kilo
adj rear linkage (rear raised an inch)
new seat covers with kanji logo
ecu has been flashed with all restrictions removed
and red line raised from 11,000rpm to 12,500.

its a beautiful bike to ride,
tho my daugher still prefers the xs over the busa
    especially when riding pillion. :-)

I thought that was Sidney, I noticed the bridge in the background. I have a night view of Sidney as one of my wallpapers. Nice pics.

Down here its called Sydney , (amongst other things )

Nice Busa Pete. Went for a ride on my XJR a couple of of days ago, with a friend on his Busa. Thought I might try and keep up. Got to around 250 when i gave up, he was still pulling away.

Awesome machine. Definitely excessive! Do ya know what the kanji translates to in English? Sure would suck to find out it means "french fry" or "mukluk" or sumpin'...

I'll bet that it's might hard not to break speed limits on that machine! How fast in first gear?
