70's harley or xs650?

So my next project I want to do is a chopper/hardtail fun little bar hopper...been thinking of a xs650 or a 70's harley...any opinions?

I really like XS650's. Please don't destroy another one. There are plenty of XS650 chopper projects that have been abandoned. They turn up often, but their owners tend to believe they have something of value when in fact, they don't.

Hi Wolf,
it's easier to ruin a Harley as most of the work was done for you at the factory.
Or like Marty sez, there's lotsa XS650 chops already half done and abandoned out there so you won't need to wreck another.
Why stop at a hardtail? Go all the way! Set the pegs way forward, rake the frame, stretch the forks, remove the front brake, fit a mini-tank with a US flag painted on it, wear white leathers, smoke some dope and pretend you are Peter Fonda.
