  • Laeky float...

    Greetings,
I am working on a KZ200 with a bad float.
What I am thinking is to dip the brass float into gas tank sealer to keep it afloat.
    Does this make sense?

    Typo

    Noticed too late to edit...

Subject should read: "Leaky float". It was early, I was tired, blah blah blah...

You need new floats. A quick search tells me they might be unobtanium. I think a solder repair may be a better choice. I will defer to someone who has done it.

        success

        Marty,
I went ahead with the soldering and it worked out well.
I sometimes get a bit gunshy with delicate stuff like that.
        Thanks for the response.
