Xj 650 carbs need help!

Did you check the bolts holding the manifolds on? Did you take them off and check the gaskets between them and the head? Do the brass tubes sticking out of them have UNCRACKED boots on them?

My bike used to rev up after it was warmed up but not to redline or anything about 3 thousand i checked the valves and that problem went away as mine were all out of spec.
