Hey all I now have a 2003 v-star classic 1100 i still owen the 81 xs1100 to my question is for the v-star i am looking for the gage setup with a fuel gage in it right now all it has is the speedo and 4 lights (temp, nutral,oil,and high beam) i want one that has a gas gage in it as well does anyone know of any after market or anything like this? if needed i will post pic's but need to get friends camra first any help would be great and happy new years to all be safe and don't drink and drive or ride for that matter

The gauges from a standard have the gas gauge in the speedo face. You would need to switch to the sender that is in the standard gas tank as well (and flip it over because they are mounted on opposite sides of the tank).
The standard gauges are square though and not round like the special gauges.Nathan

Yes i am talking about the V-Star not the 81 xs1100 the gages are ontop of the tank and how would i check to see if it has the room or can be set up for that?Comment
