  • Traded for a 2011 Ultra

Traded the 2002 Firefighter for the 96 inch Ultra Classic. Not crazy about the vivid black but it was the cheapest priced of the Ultra's.

A distinct advantage of that bike is that you can drive it ANYWHERE. If you should have difficulty, the dealer is never too far away to rescue you. They have a reputation for getting you back on the road quickly. Somehow, I'm not convinced the same thing happens if your GoldWing happens to break.

      Nice choice, pretty bike!

        new bike

Looks good. I have heard the 6 speed trans will give better mileage on road trips. you may get spoiled to all that electric ultra stuff.

I ride with a guy who has a 2011 Ultra. Very smooth-riding bike. Huge, but he likes it a lot, and it's comfy for hours and hours of riding.

Get the rear brake switch recall done or you will end up with no brakes on a mountain road like he did last weekend

            Hi Marty,
anywhere there's a paved road, that is. That monster weighs 413kg which is eff nigh half a ton. Mind you, I gotta love that passenger throne.
