Hello, does anybody know where the oil level switch it located on a
1982 XJ650? When I bought the bike the motor was covered in oil and the air box was full. I can only assume that the PO Over filled the crank case.
And I think he just keep on adding oil because the Oil light was coming on.
I have the bike running now and when you lean the bike to the right the oil light will come on. I have put in 84oz. of oil per the Haynes POS manual, and on the center stand the oil is at the top of the sight gauge.

Looks like it at the left front bottom of the engine, #8....
