Well, I haven't been around for awhile due to my hibernation. I just don't like cold weather. It's been trying to warm up but it just don't seem to want to.
In my impatience waiting for the weather to break, I came across something from Fredintoon's homeland that I could not pass up.



And no, the XJ ain't going anywhere

100 pounds lighter and 100 cc's more than the XJ. It is a very sweet riding machine. Doesn't seem to have the torque of the Yamaha though. Plus the stock pipes are so quite it just whirr's.

Nice ride! How's the riding position for distance?

It's a fairly upright position (note the tall windshield) and the seat is way more comfortable than the XJ. I've read that a set of 1" raisers make less stress on the wrists.
The XJ numbs my _ss in about 60 minutes. I plan on having some seat work done on it though.
