The Vulcan is a Kwaker. Yammi's HD competition is the Star line, and they are certainly aimed right directly at the HD line, with better quality in my opinion (although arguably lower quality chrome) and of course at 1/2 the price of the HDs. Then there is the OTHER american brand which if I was going for a cruiser is what I would probably go for which is Victory, which makes some very nice bikes, but still, their cruisers, which just aren't my kind of ride (yet).

Right now I'm feeling a lot like the old SNL character, Emily Latella.

I have been unable to sleep well since I posted this major faux pas. I can't eat, can't concentrate at work, my sex life has suffered, and my own dog bit me - all because of this thread.

In an effort to make amends here is a photo as an offering to the motorcycle pantheon: The Gods of Eternal Combustion...

Please, I am begging all of you, do not post in this thread. Don't look at this thread; don't even think about this thread.

Maybe it will go away. I hope this doesn't go on my permanent record...

              One more unrelated picture.

Deny are you laughing at me, or with me? Just wondering.

We're laughing with you. We all have had similar brain farts at some point. It goes along with CRS don't you know?.

Now what was I talking about?

that is one weird looking bike

Shacknasty - where is that? Is it yours? If so then it IS going on your permanent record!

                  Thats a very eclectic ride.

Not sure if its a Hardley or just a decal - seems like there might have been a pedal equipped model back in the day.

                      You are cruel, Mr. Hughes!

Like an Okie with a toadsticker, ya got me pinned down and now ya just want to see me squirm in pain. Will this abomination of a thread never loosen it's grip on me?

The humorous Harley (and the outlandish Militaire) was spotted at the end of the Cannonball Run, a cross country race for pre-1916 motorcycles. Here is a pic of a bike ridden across the continent by a German lady. It has no clutch and no kickstarter. So every time she came to a stop, the motor shut off. Then she had to dismount and push start her machine. There are a lot of stop signs between KittyHawk and Santa Monica...
