Fazer/Radian opinions, stories reviews wanted

Hello,
I am thinking about buying a yamaha fazer or radian, for a smaller around town ride. I don't wanna put a bunch of short trip miles on my Special. I wanted to know if any of you own, have owned, or riden one of these bikes. Is there anything in paticular about these bikes (known problems, weak points) that i should know about. any feedback would be great.
