    XS850 Help

I have a 1980 XS850SG. I'm trying to find standard piston rings, and also looking for a complete engine gasket set. If anyone has any ideas where I can get those, please let me know. Thanks!!

Bud, do not know the answer, but there is a specific site for the triples.. yamaha-triples.org that may give you some guidance as well.

        Hi Bud,
I'm told the 850 uses the same rings as the 1100.
        Seems standard rings are unfindable.

Yes, that is true. I just sold the set of rings I had. You can do the same thing that some folks do here and get the 1st oversize ones and file the ends down.
