    Yamaha virago 2001

    Hello guys
I got a question I just got a new project a virago 250 the bike was sitting for 3 years and I just got it back to life
But cylinder # 2 when I touch the exaust pipe it doesn't get hot
But the bike runs fine at idle and in gear
Any suggestions or this is normal

My wife had a '95 XV750 and both pipes got hot. I am working on a '83 XV500 and the rear pipe glows red hot, if she runs at all (something I'm trying to solve...obviously pretty lean). YRMV

      Hi Jorge,
if the exhaust pipe stays cold that cylinder is not working.
I'd suggest that the bike is running fine as a 125cc single.
