Hi concours,
my buddy has most likely tried all the most likely sources for an A7/A10 plunger frame, posting here was just a forlorn hope.
But thanks for that site link and I did sign up with it.
The Britbike site will let me get in touch with other BSA owners.

I owned an A7 in the early sixties, put A10 barrels on it, Hepolite pistons and a Rocket cam. I gave the cam profile to the machine shop ( Mundel and Slaughter in Auckland NZ ) and they built the old cam up with stelite and ground it to the specs. Put Triumph chrome rack on the tank, painted most of everything Tartan Red, chromed lots of pieces, kangaroo hide on the seat.
The 3/4 midgets used 650cc bike motors so lots of go fast stuff for these engines.
My brother used to paint tigers on the back of leather jackets for the Triumph Tiger guys.
