My buddy Gary and I were there on Friday dodging rain drops and he wanted to mosey over and look at the high mpg bikes. While we were standing there looking them over a guy behind us says "Hey buddy, could you grab that rock and put it under my front tire so it won't roll down the hill?" Gary did as he was asked as the guy pushed his bike into the spot we were standing in.
As we walked away, I asked Gary if he knew who that fella was, and of course he had no clue. I said that was Craig Vetter.
He is a little older now but that was him. I met him at the first annual Vetter Rally in Colorado Springs in 1980.
