No Clutch Lever FJR ?

Anybody have any info on the 2009 clutch leverless FJR11300A?
Apparently it has a clutch which is activated by computer sensors. It is not an automatic transmission per say.
The rider must shift the gears up and down.
I spoke with an owner of a regular clutched FJR who had test ridden one and he said it made incredibly quick shifts similar to a sport bike air shifter. I believe it uses a ignition kill activated by the shifter.
Sounds like a decent idea, but there must be a down side.
Anyone familiar with this system?
I'm considering purchasing it.

Triumph "quickshift" did that back in the 1960s.
The Triumph still had to use it's clutch to pull away though,
how does the FJR manage that?

Perhaps a centrifugal clutch? At idle, it might disengage, but under power, it engages itself? IDK, I'm just guessing...

I was down at the honda dealer and have read some stuff that points to it being a true automatic transmission that honda has developed that actually works. They have one model that has both a manual shift and fully auto mode.
