  • Is anyone near Little Rock??

    Hi all,
I'm trying to replace my '79 with a 2008 Kawasaki Concours. There is one in the Little Rock area I'd like someone to look at for me. As I live in California, any bike I buy from out of state MUST have 7,500 miles or more on the odometer. It's either that, or it MUST meet the CARB requirements, and that is what I'm trying to avoid.http://littlerock.craigslist.org/mcy/1820906891.html
PM me if you can help, and I'll send you the information from craigslist. My cell number is in the top right of my postings.

        He couldnt make it.
He's taking care of a 80yr old woman. Her husband passed friday. Theyre his neighbors.

Thanks for the effort! Let him know I'm sorry about the loss. The motorcycle is NOT worth what one does for a neighbor, or the feeling of helping someone just to help. I can keep looking, as I'm NOT in a hurry to buy.

I hadn't heard that one yet. I sure would like to meat the JA that comes up with all this ridiculous nonsense. If you haven't had to deal with it yet, just wait till one of your vehicles needs a new cat!

I got lucky! SWMBO's 2006 Accord hybrid was giving us some problems, and the local Honda dealer could not "find" the cause. It took out the cat converter, and they had to eat the cost! Retail was over $800 just for the one that went out!
As far as the miles on a "used" vehicle, look up the facts online through the DMV web page. I was looking at a nice 2K mile Connie, decided to check online, and got a RUDE awakening!
And now, I do NOT qualify for a loan because I work for a "temp" company, even though I am an engineer with a minimum six month contract. Sometimes you just can't win!
