A fellow rider and i were talking today and he said his bike was running lean and said counterclockwise to darken the plugs.Is that correct?I have been sick all week and could not think about it.Which way?

every carb ive worked on the mixture screw
meters fuel, clockwise (screwed in) will cause it
to run lean, screw out will cause it to run rich,
just the same as the carbys on our bike.
so to answer your question, your mates correct.
