Anyone out there know much about Honda CM200/250?

Hey Guys & Gals,

Anyone know much about the 1980s Honda CM200 Twinstar and the bigger 250?

I have a CM200 Twinstar 1980 I am rebuilding. What I would like to do is make it into a 250. Anyone know if the 250 head will fit?

The head wont do it.The bore was the same but the stroke was different... Your CM200 is 53 x 44mm and the 82 CM250 is 53 x 53mm.

Oddly enough, they both put out 17hp. The CM200@ 9000rpm and the CM250@7500rpm. The CM200 having a 4spd with a top speed of 73.9mph and the CM250 a 5spd with a top speed of 65.9. Go figure!
