XS650 Copper Filings on Oil Filter?

I'm planning an engine tear down of my 650 79SF LiL Bro.

Last time I changed the oil I noticed what looks very much like copper dust in the oil and on the filter.

What part is wearing?
Does this mean I should stop running the engine?

Bearings.Yea I would stop riding it till it's fixed.
Of course, if you keep riding it it will stop running anyway pretty soon.
