Middle gear help for an 82 650 seca

Hi All,
I have a coworker with an 82 650 Seca.
He is trying to locate the middle drive (bevel gears) for his bike and is having no luck so far.
Thought maybe some of you guys and girls mite know where to find them and/or what bikes share the same.
Any help would be great.
