Picked up an 82 GS650 today

Found an 82 GS650G a couple miles away on Craigslist this morning. Owner is moving to DC and wanted it sold NOW Got it cheeaapppp ! Good Compression, Carbs on the bench now for a good cleaning. 23k miles on it, clear title and a new rear tire.



Wife was not impressed, but deals with it ...

I'm gonna sell the XS750's come spring along with the GS650.

I keep telling the wife there's room for 4 more in there .

If I had that many bikes my family would never see me unless they were deliverying food or beer to the garage.

I have a fridge in the Garage .
My biggest problem is getting things done with all the bikers in the neighborhood always stopping by and of course drinking beer while we shoot the breeze. I switched to tequilia and whiskey which deters them a little, at least the weak ones.

I got the carbs cleaned up installed and running just needs a sync. Waiting on a front tire and it will be up for sale.

It's just an off season thing I've been doing for the past 5 or so years when I'm not fishing. I'll be getting down to the 3 XS11's here shortly. Then hopefully finish the 81XS11 Venturer so I can ride it up to MOM this year.
