    Here's a couple of pictures of the "Gator Bike", a 79 Yamaha SR500.
    One of the members of the VJMC here in Tampa acquires beat up bikes, usually basket cases (Yamaha and Kawasaki only) and rebuids them. Most of the time not to original conditions. Ha!
    He also has a XS750, XS650 and a Kawi 500, 3 cylinder. I will post some pictures of those later and some more info of his current projects and his blog. Very interesting reading.

    I'd LOVE to see that blog. I used to have a 79 SR500 in great shape but had no room for it when I moved a couple of years ago. It was either the SR500 went or my 06 Bonneville and the Trumpet won ...

    Man what I wouldn't do to find another sr500 project down the road.....

      He has lots of reading in there. You probably would have to go to late 07 to find about the Gator Bike.
