  • XS 400 Front Tire

What size tire is suppose to be on an 81 XS 400? The one on this bike is so over sized that the fender rubs. I think its suppose to have a 3.00-18 on it but can't find that size in anything that I'd ride on. So 400 owners what are you using.

    Thanks

I put a 100/90 18 on my 80 and it seems to fit and work fine.

        1980 xs400 3.00X18

is what I run and I think is stock - I found tires at a local cycle shop in the catalog - the rear was the hard one to find.
