  • Hopefully my last 1975 xs500 Question....

    Could someone tell me what the points are supposed to be set at on this bike....I dont have a manual. And could someone PLEASE tell me where I could get a wiring diagram for it as well. Thanks alot. -Joe

        Thickness of a matchbook cover works on almost all points ever made for cars, bikes, light trucks, off road vehicles, etc.

            matchbook covers

            Are great cuz they also have a nice sanding surface to scratch up those points that needed the crud knocked off. It is weird how that stuff works out huh?

              Any chance there is a wiring diagram floating around? I just acquired a 1976 XS500 that's only problems are a lack of working head/tail lights and a slight propensity to mark its territory.
