    91 750 Virago 18000 mi.-dormant 10 years

A friend of mine in Texas picked this up.

The PO (original) died about ten years ago and it has been sitting in someones carport since. My friend, Bob, took ill, before he could do anything with it, and passed away also. R.I.P.
Now I've got it and I'm trying to get it put back together in memorandum.

I've had it running and the engine sounds real good, but I need to find some parts.

#1 the starter clutch is shot, #2 the cap has been gone off the fuel tank for a LONG time, don't think I can save the tank. #3 the weather has pealed the chrome off of the left side engine covers.

If anyone has any parts for this thing, or can point me in the right direction to where I can get them as inexpensively as possible, please let me know.

You'll be able to find alot over on the ViragoTech Forums

The starter clutch problem is common on the Virago.
You might be able to source a tank off of the classifieds there or clean and seal the one you have.

    Good Luck!
