It was a great day in Triumph land.

My local Triumph dealer had Demo ride day, I volunteered to help with the demo rides, I never rode the same bike twice!! Here is what I rode:

    Tiger:

    Bonneville America:

    Thunderbird Sport:

    Daytona:

    Speed Four:

    Speed Triple:

    Sprint RS

    And a few others........

    Hey Gary

When you said you volunteered to help , i thought maybe you would man a table or two. I guess what you really meant was that you had to warm up the tires for the people that came to the demo.

Very Very thoughtful of you. To make sure that all the models worked properly. Before anyone else took them for a ride.

        Gary,

What did you think of the Thunderbird sport? When I got my XS1100 I was also considering Tbirds.

The T-Bird Sport was the last bike I rode, I thought it was a nice bike but it seemed to have a weird vibration in it, like somthing was wrong with it. It did not do it everytime, so I have to assume this bike had a problem. Has a very straight up riding position like an XS, bars were tall and mostly straight. Seemed like a very capable bike. Did not have the oomph of the Sprint RS and Daytona though! Nice looking bike.....if you could have only one, the T-bird sprot would be a good choice. Very limited numbers only a couple hundred imported each year.
