Sold mine($1600) after a complete restoration last year. They handled ok... Suspension was crap. The SS Brake line upgrade was the the best bang for the buck as it would finally stop once you rapped it up. Only had an 85mph speedo on it though
. Was pushing roughly 90hp and it was a shaft drive! Stock did 7psi of boost. But in 83 they offered a power up kit(stock on the 83's) for the 82's, which increased boost to just under 12psi. If wastegate was disconnected, it would try to go over 15psi and open a popoff valve in the surge tank 
Making a loud screaming noise as it discharged back into the airbox. Fun to ride For Sure!
