yes the appeal of being able take a gravel road is interesting.
Modern tech is crazy I can't imagine riding a pure street bike. The strom is a classic tl1000 engine tuned down to deliver low and midrange torque. I am in the 275+ club rolling into it hard in 3rd gear will almost pull the front wheel up.
strange getting used to a twin after years on the maxim and goldwing.
The vstrom are cool bikes. I used to have the BMW f650. pretty simular bike. I love the big dual sport model. I almost picked up a
triumph tiger 950 earlier this year. Happy driving.
