  • KZ1000 fire problem

    on my number one cylinder it has trouble firing. i have replaced the plugs and wires, if i pull the plug wure half way off it fires just right nice and strong, but when all the way on that cylinder runs like crap? any clues, should i do the coils too?

    I'm betting the resistive caps on the end of the ignition coil lead wires are missing or faulty.

      Swap plugs with another cylinder. If it follows the plug, thats the problem, if it stays on the same hole its most likely your cap.
      Betcha runnin NGK's, huh.
