  • Problems with my Triple

    Hey guys
I have been having some problems with my triple and the triples site does not seem to be working right now.
My bike has developed a flat spot in the throttle that doesn't seem to go away although it seems to get better once the bike is warm. When I take off I have no power unless I really rev it up. Once cruising it continues to want to lose power at any rpm but when I crack open the throttle it pulls just fine. Does this sound to you like leaking diaphragms? I just cleaned the carbs twice and still no change. New plugs, wires, caps. It really seems to me that it must be fuel related because once warm it will idle just fine. Let me know what you think.

Flat when cold and better when warm sounds like you are running lean. Worse when warm usually indicates running rich.

Kill the engine when it bogs and look at plug color.
