    ae7f:

You may have to spring for a manual for example, http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcycles/2003/27/0/15406 or you could drop by the auto store and see if they have a readable manual of the same type. You may be lucky and find one in your local library as mine has many Chilton and Haynes manuals but I have not seen a motor scooter one as of yet. They may be able to borrow it from another lending library that has one Check with the librarian, he/she maybe able to fix you up.

Guy who owns a manual - talked to him on that scooter site under the thread link I posted - said I've done about everything in the manual for a "hard starting" bike.

Just a thought. I had heard at one time that these bikes have a problem with the ignition switch sometimes coming apart internally and causing problems. It may be worth a shot to do some checking there.

It bogs from 1/8 to 1/3 throttle. This is the spot in the throttle that is necessary to start the bike. Everything else has checked out ok...

Have you considered centering it in a bonfire? I think it's time to burn it at the stake...

You could try transplanting in one of those cheap Chinese made industrial engines they sell at Harbor Freight. At least that way it would run...

I come by my hate for scooters quite honestly. Had to work on Yamaha and Honda scooters back when I was turning wrenches for a full time living...
