  • Headlight change '03 Shadow Spirit 750

My little brother is out on the road with a burned out headlight and can't figure out how to pull the bulb. He sees two screws on the headlight bucket ring and removes it but he says the lense wont budge ....

Does anyone know how this headlight works ... I'll call him with the answer.

Don't know anything about newer Shadows, but on my '85 1100, the headlight ring only had the adjuster screws in it.

On mine you had to look at the bucket, just behind the ring, towards the bottom on both sides. There was one screw at about 4 o'clock, and the other at 8 o'clock.

They were countersunk and chromed like the bucket.

Once you take those out, the whole ring/bulb assembly had to be twisted counter clockwise about an inch, then it would come out.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

      Thx, Craz

I'll send this to his I phone .... poor guy. He knows his way around a sound console but ain't much of a wrench. I told him to look for screws down there but he couldn't find 'em. He might have removed the adjuster screws.
