Master cylinder lens replacement

I remember reading an article about replacing the broken lens in a master cylinder with a watch glass crystal, very clear.
I purchased a Cb650 1983 Model front master cylinder for my CB450SC 82 Nighthawk. The master cylinder is or will work without the plastic reservoir but needs a new lens about 5/8" diameter in it.
Can anyone tell me or link me to the article? I also may need a kit for the MC

I bought a kit off e-bay. You need to glue the new crystal in. I have not done it yet.
