    1000 Bhp

January 25, 2007 Squeeze a massive 8.2 litre supercharged V8 monster truck engine with as much power as a Bugatti Veyron into a motorcycle and you have the Rapom V8, the product of the vivid imagination of 44-year old British engineer Nick Argyle. Unlike many who design such wilderbeasts , Argyle…

That thing is cool as hell, but it looks like it wouldn't make it a half a mile before it runs outta gas. It would be a fun half a mile tho.

If it is only 1000bhp, he's done something wrong.

My 8.2l (502cuin) is 502hp stock. A B&M 420 Megablower kit (roots type just like in the picture) pushes the 502 to 820hp just bolting it on.

Running on alcohol should double that again, at least, and be (like the monster truck motor he claims it is) in the 1600-2000hp range.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Not on any surface that I drive on. Might be ok on the dyno.

Nothing like sitting with your face against a time bomb waiting to explode during a pass. I think it needs some diapers at least! And I want to see how someone rides it.
