  • Pod filters for the FJ1100

After recently removing the carbs from That *@^^ FJ with a great deal of difficulty due to a stripped bolt/ nut on the airbox... I have decided to look into the possiblity of pod filters...
Everything is still stock on the carbs... no modifications at all, infact, to any of the bike...

Suggestions on the filters as well as the jetting would be greatly appreciated...

These are nice, I got a set to fit my XS...seem to be of good quality, oiled foam.

Made to fit legends race cars with FJ engines.

      That helps!

I was wondering about the Legends sites...
I'll start there... and that isn't a bad price (as I was thinking it would be much more costly for the pods)

      Thanks for the link!

Hey... how did these filters affect your jet settings?

Don't know how they effect stock carbs, I'm using them on some 36mm Mikuni RS (high perf) carbs.

My guess would be that they would jet pretty much the same as a set of K&Ns.

They also make pre-filters for them which keep them clean longer (very effective on a dirt track in a Legends car) the pre-filters are not at all necessary for a bike but are colorful and trick looking.
