  • Commute home was unbelievable- so I took pics!

Well, I rode my bike to work in the AM today. It was rather warm. No worries. My low-top Nikes, carharts, rest of my armor and gear on though!

Anyway- had to ride it home, in about a good 18" of depth

This is my "good morning" this AM!

Nope- my Sabre is my summer vacation bike, my RC51 is my sport bike-summer bike, my Z1 is my hot rod.

I have a bike shop- I get to ride about every bike I have ever dreamed about, as customers GREATLY over-estimate my ability- which is fine I suppose- but today I have at least three people with new sport bikes telling me "you have GOT to ride my new bike to make sure everything is okay- I can't ride it as fast as you - can you take it to girdwood and back for me and tell me what you think (40miles each way)"- to which I reply, in slow, measured tones, without trying to wiggle like a puppy that needs to pee, "Um, sure, give me the keys"

            Summer bike with ice picks.
I don't think you actually have a "SUMMER" then.?.

              Great white north-ern riding weather?

So this is what you have to go through to get a decent ride in?

How many decent riding days do you actually get in up that way?

Typically I get 6 months good, non-ice, non-snow riding- I would say nearly 5 months of really premium summer riding. Not as bad as you think- really.

I love it! The Sabre has nobbies on it- catch some off road action sometimes too?
