  • Anyone seen the new Vision?

I tried to upload from photobucket the newly unveild Victory Vision...they have a street model and several Touring models.Image wont load so maybe someone else who has seen this could post a pic of it.I saw it at victorymotorcycles.com.All I can say is this is one STUNNING M/C!I'm constantly reminding myself that this is a V-twin but damn if its any thing like you've ever seen before!!!!!This is waaaaaay beyond cloned cruisers...WOW......

        Yep

Thanks Wayne...Thats' it alright....my initial reaction to seeing this was WOW!I mean I am sure some ppl dont like it...I like its style as everything flows really well... but this bike is BIG and HEAVY especially the touring models that weigh in at 849lbs!some other interesting specs...Engine: Victory Freedom V-twin,106cu in.displacement and 1731cc's,CR of 9.4:1,Trans: 6 spd with true overdrive.Gas Tank:6 Gals.Final Drive:Carbon reinforced belt.Seat HT: 26.5".Length(touring model)104.9"So it as big as a Gold Wing or bigger!Too big for me but I like its styling...YMMV forgot to mention Hp is rated @ 92.

If you look at it head-on it looks a bit like Bozo the clown.

            Bozo

well the fairing and headlamp somewhat look like they borrwed from the Honda GoldWing but it is surely not as pretty. But again the whole idea here is to go out of the box and I think Victory hit the mark on that one.So its enough to make ppl look and do a double take...as i did...

More like the Pacific Coast, if you remember those...

Like a cross between a Gold Wing and a Vespa.

                  Victory

I am sorry to say but Victory Bikes have not impressed me in any way other than horsepower. Personally i think that is one fugly bike. This is just my opinion and i can see some people might like it but....there are lots of bikes out there for less dinero that look better. But thats just me .

To me its kind of refreshing to see something stray from the constant cloning done today. It might not be everybody's cup of tea, but what is?

Saw one of those while I was riding home from work the other day. The taillight section looks pretty cool(?) The guy that was riding it had a HUGE smile on his face...personally, not my kind of bike.
