  • Another Craigslist Alert!

If this was an Eleven I'd be all over it! Still looks really nice though...

Did I read somewhere that the 850 would hang with the 11?

    MikesXs Pod Filters
    MikesXs 35k Coils
    8mm plug wires
    42.5 Pilots 142.5 Mains
    (Carb tune by GNEPIG Performance)
    Kerker 4-into-1
    Shaved emblems
    Progressive frt springs lowered 1.5"
    Progressive 11.5" rear shocks
    Harley Dyna rear fender chopped
Custm side mt tag (apparently illegal)

      Uh, no

I have owned both the 850 Special and my beloved XS11, and by far, the 11 would kick the ass out of my 850.

The rear end rose up when you accelerated, and the 3 cylinders just fought eachother; whereas the 11 is perfectly balanced, rotates in the opposite direction and delivers so much more torque to the rear.

      Just my opinion.

      WOW - What a ride!

I agree, that 850 triple is not the greatest bike. Prolly why there arent too many around anymore.
        Certainly NOT worth $1800

"Hey now... what are you saying?"

          I've got two of them.
(of course.. I only paid $100 fer each)
I agree with Skippy... but it's nice to have an extra bike for when my brother flies out.
